Russian Forces Bring Weapons, Logistical Equipment to Bases in Hasakah and Raqqa
ERBIL – Russian forces on Tuesday brought weapons, as well as logistical equipment, to their bases in Hasakah and Raqqa, a monitor said.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that the Russian aircrafts, carrying weapons and logistical supplies, were heading towards Hasakah and Raqqa.
They came from Qamishli, the Britain-based monitoring group added.
Earlier on August 31, nearly 13 Russian military vehicles, carrying “logistical supplies, weapons, ammunition and fuel, headed from the regime-controlled areas towards the Russian military base in Ain Issa area in the northern countryside of Al-Raqqah,” SOHR concluded.
