“De-escalation zone” | Russian reconnaissance drones fly over southern Idlib, while regime forces renew rocket attacks on Jabal Al-Zawiyah

SOHR activists have monitored Russian reconnaissance drones flying over the southern countryside of Idlib. Meanwhile, regime forces renewed their rocket attacks on Jabal Al-Zawiyah this morning, targeting positions in Sfuhen, Kansafrah, Al-Fterah and Fulayfel. However, no casualties have been reported.

Yesterday, SOHR sources said that opposition factions attacked regime positions near al-Baraka village and Mirza castle in Sahl Al-Ghab area in north-west Hama countryside. No casualties were reported.

It is worth nothing that groups of Russian forces are stationed in Mirza castle, adjacent to administrative borders of Latakia province.

SOHR sources had reported that regime ground forces fired several rockets on Al-Ruwayha and Bayanin village in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib. Regime rocket fire coincided with flights by Russian reconnaissance drones over the area.
