Rif Dimashq | Unknown gunmen attack regime checkpoint in Douma, leaving three soldiers injured

Reliable sources in Douma city in Rif Dimashq have informed SOHR that unknown gunmen on a motorcycle opened machinegun fire on a checkpoint of the regime’s intelligence service. The attack, which took place on Wednesday near the “Municipal Stadium” in Douma city, resulted in the injury of three regime soldiers, one seriously, and they were taken later to hospitals in Damascus.

According to SOHR sources, regime soldiers stationed at the targeted checkpoint are used to repressing, humiliating, and insulting people of Douma, in addition to harassing women almost daily.

Yesterday, Observatory activists documented the killing of a girl and the age of 18, as members of the “National Defence Forces” (NDF) opened fire discriminately, celebrating the wedding of their friend, in Al-Jarba town of Al-Marj area in the eastern Ghout, Rif Dimashq. According to SOHR sources, NDF members opened fire up on the air in the town for hours, which led to the death of the girl after she was hit with a gunshot.

It is worth noting that the girl got an A-plus this year after finishing primary education.
