Unknown drone hovers in Idlib, Syrian government escalates its attacks

Government forces increased their attacks on Idlib and Aleppo countryside, while an unidentified drone flew over the western Idlib governorate.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that an unidentified drone was hovering intensively in the airspace of the border region with Liwa Iskenderun, west of Idlib Governorate.

In this context, government forces fired flare bombs at Ruwaiha axis, south of Idlib, coinciding with the targeting of mercenaries there with heavy machine guns.

A flare bomb was also fired at the axis of the town of Afas, northwest of the city of Saraqib.

Government forces targeted, with heavy machine guns, the axes of the town of Kafr in the countryside of Aleppo, without information about casualties so far.

Meanwhile, the mercenaries of the “Al-Fateh al-Mubin Operations Room” managed to kill a member of the government forces and wound another, believed to be an officer, on the axis of the village of Bala, west of Aleppo.

In addition, an explosive drone, likely to be Iranian, dropped more than 10 bombs on Turkish mercenary sites at the contact points with government forces in Jabal Al-Zawiya and the town of Al-Bara in the southern countryside of Idlib.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored, this morning, a flight of a Russian warplane in the airspace of Idlib Governorate, in conjunction with the launch of two raids on the area between the city of Idlib and the village of Sheikh Yusuf.
