6 members of the regime forces were killed and wounded in an ISIS attack in the countryside of Raqqa

6 members of the Syrian regime forces were killed and injured as a result of their targeting by armed men of the terrorist organization “ISIS” in the countryside of Raqqa, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, today, Saturday.

The observatory said that it documented the killing of two members of the regime forces and the wounding of 4 others, as a result of the targeting of a patrol with automatic weapons by the cells of the terrorist organization “ISIS” in the Rusafa desert in the countryside of Raqqa.

It is noteworthy that Russian warplanes launched raids the day before yesterday on sites of the terrorist organization in the Syrian desert, within the administrative borders of Raqqa.

These raids coincided with an attack by ISIS militants on the positions of the regime forces and the militants loyal to them, in the towns of Mansoura and Rusafa, south of Raqqa.

The number of human losses during the period extending from 24 March of last year of the year 2019 to this day has reached 716 dead members of the regime forces and militants loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, including at least two Russians, in addition to 140 pro-Iranian militias of nationalities. Not Syrian.

All of these people were killed during attacks, bombings and ambushes of the “ISIS” organization in the west of the Euphrates, the desert of Deir Ezzor, Raqqa, Homs and As-Suwayda.

In addition, 4 civilians working in the gas fields and 11 shepherds, in addition to a female citizen, were killed in the attacks of the terrorist organization. While 329 ISIS terrorists were killed in the same period during the attacks, shelling and targeting.
