“De-escalation zone” | Regime rocket fire on Jabal Al-Zawiyah interrupts tense calm in the area

SOHR activists have monitored tense calm prevailing in the “de-escalation zone” since midnight interrupted this morning by regime rocket fire on Jabal Al-Zawiyah. The regime forces’ rockets pounded positions in Al-Fterah, Kansafrah, Sfuhen, surrounding areas of Kaf Oweid and Fulayfel.

Meanwhile, Turkish forces shelled regime positions on frontlines of Jabal Al-Zawiyah in southern Idlib, amid unconfirmed reports about casualties.

Yesterday Observatory activists monitored the arrival of military reinforcement of regime forces and loyalists to several areas in rural Khan Sheikhoun and Ma’rat al-Numan in southern Idlib.

The reinforcement included military materiel, personnel carriers “Zil vehicles”, heavy guns, and military buses, and they were deployed in regime forces’ camps in the area.
