Assassination | Unknown gunmen open fire on Turkish vehicle in eastern Aleppo, killing Turkish employee

Reliable sources have informed SOHR that unknown assailants opened fire on a vehicle affiliated to a Turkish civil organization in Tel Battal village, controlled by Turkish forces and their proxies in the north-eastern countryside of Aleppo. The attack resulted in the killing of the killing of a civilian Turkish employee, while the perpetrators managed to escape.

On Saturday, Observatory sources monitored renewed shelling on the Turkish post in Al-Ghazawiyya village in Afrin countryside, by Kurdish forces stationed in Kalota castle near Kabashin. The shelling coincided with intensive Turkish bombardment on Kurdish position in northern Aleppo.

SOHR sources said earlier that day that Turkish forces stationed in their military bases in the northern Aleppo countryside shelled, with heavy artillery, positions in the villages of Aqiba, Soghanka and Burj al-Qass in Shirawa district in areas under the control of Kurdish forces, leaving several people wounded in Burj al-Qass.
