ISIS resurgence | Two members of “Self-Defence Forces” assassinated in eastern Al-Hasakah

SOHR activists have documented the killing of two members of the “Self-Defence Forces” by unknown gunmen, believed to be ISIS cells, while being in their post in Al-Fajj village of Al-Haddadiyah in Al-Hawl area in the eastern countryside of Al-Hasakah.

On September 11, SOHR activists said that two women and a young man were killed, while two others (a woman and a young man) were injured inside a tent in Al-Hawl camp in Hasakeh countryside.

According to Observatory sources, three gunmen broke into the victims’ tent, in the first sector allocated to Iraqi refugees, and shot them with silencer guns, chanting pro-ISIS slogans “the Islamic State will remain”.
