Escalating violence | Regime forces shell five locations in Sahl al-Ghab, and rebels target regime positions in Sahl al-Ghab and Idlib countryside

SOHR sources say that regime forces and loyalists shelled the town of Al-Ziyarah, al-Sarmaniyah, Doir al-Akrad, Al-Ankawi and al-Qahira in Sahl al-Ghab in north-west Hama province.

Meanwhile, regime forces renewed their ground bombardment on the villages of Al-Fatirah and Safohin in Idlib countryside, coinciding with shelling by the factions on positions where regime forces are stationed in Sahl al-Ghab and Idlib countryside.

Furthermore, the factions have targeted with artillery the gatherings of regime forces and loyal militas on frontline of al-Dar al-Kabira in southern Idlib countryside, but no casualties have been reported so far.

The Syrian Observatory has monitored dozens of rocket-propelled grenades and artillery fired by regime forces, targeting positions in Kansafra, Kafr Aweid, Al-Fatira, Sofohin and Fififel in the southern idlib countryside. While Turkish forces shelled regime forces’ positions on frontlines in Jabal al-Zawiya, south of Idlib, amid reports of casualties.
