For $2000 | “Al-Hamza Division” releases former SDF member after torturing him in its prisons in “Peace Spring” areas

SOHR sources say that the Turkish-backed “Al-Hamza Division” released a civilian who had been arrested a few days earlier from the area of Arbaeen near the village of Kozliya in Ras al-Ain countryside within the ” “Peace Spring areas, after his relatives paid a ransom of $2,000. The civilian was brutally beaten and tortured in Al-Hamza Division’s prisons, for previously dealing with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), after SDF took control of their areas.

On September 12, Reliable sources have informed SOHR that members of the Turkish-backed factions arrested a young man from the town of Tal Abyad in the area of “Peace Spring”, for dealing with the SDF.

The security official of “al-Jabha al-Shamiya”, which was a former security official of ISIS, and Al-Majd Corps security official and a number of Turkish-backed factions’ members, have participated in the arrest.

During the arrest, they insulted the young man in a disgraceful manner in front of his family and relatives, and took him to their prisons in Tal Abyad area, north of Raqqa.

On September 5, members of Turkish-backed factions arrested five civilians from the village of Bir Noah in the Tel Tamer countryside for dealing with SDF.
