Idlib | Casualties among regime forces as clashes erupt on southern frontlines

SOHR sources say that the factions managed to snipe one regime soldier and injure another on frontline of al-Ruwayha village in Idlib countryside

On the other hand, violent clashes took place with medium and heavy weapons this evening, between regime forces and loyalists on one hand, and rebels and Islamic factions on the other, on frontline of the village of Al-Fatira in Idlib countryside. No casualties have been reported.

SOHR sources said earlier that regime forces and loyalists shelled the town of Al-Ziyarah, al-Sarmaniyah, Doir al-Akrad, Al-Ankawi and al-Qahira in Sahl al-Ghab in north-west Hama province.

Meanwhile, regime forces renewed their ground bombardment on the villages of Al-Fatirah and Safohin in Idlib countryside, coinciding with shelling by the factions on positions where regime forces are stationed in Sahl al-Ghab and Idlib countryside.

Furthermore, the factions have targeted with artillery the gatherings of regime forces and loyal militas on frontline of al-Dar al-Kabira in southern Idlib countryside, but no casualties have been reported so far.

The Syrian Observatory has monitored dozens of rocket-propelled grenades and artillery fired by regime forces, targeting positions in Kansafra, Kafr Aweid, Al-Fatira, Sofohin and Fififel in the southern idlib countryside. While Turkish forces shelled regime forces’ positions on frontlines in Jabal al-Zawiya, south of Idlib, amid reports of casualties.
