Tal Abyad | Turkish forces and SDF exchange fire in countryside

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored artillery shelling by Turkish forces and proxy factions, targeting the silos of “Qazali” in the SDF-held in the western countryside of Tel Abyad, coinciding with artillery shelling by SDF on Turkish forces’ positions in the area, but no casualties have been reported so far.

Syrian Observatory activists have reported renewed rocket fire this afternoon by Turkish forces and their proxies on positions in the villages of Ibrahim Al-Kurdi, Beir Kitak, Kobarlik and Sarong, which are under the control of regime forces and SDF, west of Tel Abyad in the northern countryside of Al-Raqqah. The bombardment killed a regime soldier and injured seven other.

SOHR sources reported earlier this morning rocket fire by factions operating under the banner of the Turkish-backed “National Army”, on SDF positions in Kobarlik village in western Tel Abyad in the northern countryside of Al-Raqqah. However, no casualties were reported.
