IED attacks | Explosion injures interpreter working at Turkish military base in Al-Bab countryside

Aleppo Governorate – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources have reported that an improvised explosive device (IED) exploded in the village of Barrazia in the countryside of al-Bab city in north-eastern Aleppo, targeting a vehicle of an interpreter working for the Turkish base in the area, injuring him and injuring a woman as well.

Yesterday, SOHR sources said that engineering teams of Turkish-backed factions detonated an improvised explosive device (IED) placed by unknown assailants inside a garbage bag near a Turkish military post in the Ashrafieh neighbourhood in Afrin. No casualties have been reported.

The areas held by Turkish forces and their proxy factions are witnessing a surge in the activities of the cells responsible for planting IEDs and assassinations.
