Ma’rat al-Numan | Turkish forces fire tear gas to break up regime loyalists’ vigil at al-Sarman post

Reliable sources have told the Syrian Observatory that Turkish forces stationed at Al-Sarrman post in Ma’rat al-Numan countryside fired tear gas in order to disperse the vigil held by dozens of the Syrian regime loyalists.

SOHR eyewitnesses have just monitored dozens of regime loyalists carrying pictures of the president of the Syrian regime Bashar al-Assad and staging a vigil in front of the Turkish post in Murek, which is controlled by regime forces in the northern countryside of Hama, demanding the Turks leave the Syrian territory.

According to Observatory sources, the vigil was called by the “Baath Party”, as audio recordings were leaked demanding that the leaders of the branches and secretaries of teams of the party and popular events participate in a vigil in front of the Turkish post, and should be wearing civilian clothing.
