Russian-American skirmishes | U.S. forces block Russians vehicles near al-Qahtania in rural al-Qamishli, as Russian and American helicopters fly over the area

Observatory sources have monitored a U.S. military patrol stationing on the “M4” road near the town of Al-Qahtania in Al-Qamishli countryside, to prevent Russian vehicles from passing on the road, coinciding with the flight of two American and two Russian helicopters over the region. This comes as part of the ongoing Russian-American skirmishes and tension in the areas of northern and eastern Syria.

Yesterday, very reliable SOHR sources confirmed that a US helicopter made an emergency landing in Kherbet Be’r village in Al-Ya’rabiyyah area in rural Al-Hasakah for unknown reasons. On the other hand, SOHR sources confirm that the reports circulated on regime media outlets on the crash of the US helicopter are completely false.

Meanwhile, a US patrol rushed to secure the helicopter’s landing. It is worth noting that there is an airfield in Al-Ya’rabiyyah area for the US aircraft.

Separately, SOHR activists have monitored a US military patrol of four armoured vehicles touring the surrounding areas of Rumaylan in the north-eastern countryside of Al-Hasakah, as a part of US routine movements in the region.
