Rural al-Hasakeh | IED explodes in oil truck, killing driver and causing material damage

Hasaka Governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR activists have documented today the death of the driver of an oil truck, as his truck was targeted by an IED planted by unknown persons on the side of the international road near the town of Al-Yaroubiya near Ali Agha gas station, within SDF-held areas in countryside of al-Hasakeh.

The explosion resulted in the burning of the truck and material damage at the site of the explosion.

The number of fighters, civilians, oil workers and officials in service agencies who were assassinated in four provinces: Aleppo, Deir ez-Zor, Raqqa and Al-Hasakah, in addition to Manbij area in northeastern Aleppo province, which is controlled by SDF, has increased to 579 persons.

The Syrian Observatory has documented the assassination of 203 civilians by armed cells, including 15 children and 11 women in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, Al-Hasakah countryside, Raqqa city and countryside and Manbij, in addition to the assassination of 372 fighters of SDF, including local leaders in the same areas, while four members of the International Coalition were killed, dozens of wounded were also reported by SOHR as a result of those assassinations.
