Joint patrol | Turkish and Russian forces tour surrounding areas of Ain Al-Arab

Syrian Observatory activists have monitored Russian and Turkish forces running a new joint patrol in Aleppo countryside. A patrol of four Russian armoured vehicles and four Turkish others set off from Ashmah village in the west of Ain Al-Arab city (Kobani) in eastern Aleppo, near the Syria-Turkey border. It is expected that the patrol will tour the villages of Jarqli, Qarran, Salib, Boban, Saftak, Tal Sha’ir, Sousan, Qoullah, Binder, Mashko and Jabnah, and it will return to Ashmah ones again. It is worth noting that the patrol is escorted by two Russian helicopters.
