Security chaos in “Al-Hawl mini-state” | Syrian man and woman stabbed to death

Syrian Observatory activists have documented a new murder in “Al-Hawl mini-state” in the far south-east of Al-Hasakah, as two Syrian persons (a man and a woman) were found dead after being stabbed to death by knives yesterday. The Internal Security Forces (Asayish) found the two bodies dumped in a hole between the camp’s fifth and eighth sections.

On September 11, SOHR activists said that two women and a young man were killed, while two others (a woman and a young man) were injured inside a tent in Al-Hawl camp in Hasakeh countryside.

According to Observatory sources, three gunmen broke into the victims’ tent, in the first sector allocated to Iraqi refugees, and shot them with silencer guns, chanting pro-ISIS slogans “the Islamic State will remain”.

On September 3, reliable sources informed the Syrian Observatory that the administration of Al-Hawl camp transported 20 families of some 67 non-Syrian persons and 47 children of ISIS families, from Al-Hawl camp to “Rouj” camp in Al-Malikiyyah countyside.

According to SOHR sources, this action was a part of the efforts to ease the pressure on Al-Hawl camp, in addition to concerns for their lives from being killed by extremist women.
