Military reinforcement | Russian forces bring in logistical supplies, weapons and ammunition to Al-Qamishli airbase

Syrian Observatory activists have monitored a Russian convoy comprising tens of vehicles carrying logistical supplies, weapons and ammunition, heading from M4 highway to Al-Qamishli airbase, a Russian military base in north-east Syria region.

Yesterday, regime military reinforcement consisting of 15 buses carrying soldiers and logistics materials arrived in regime positions in the 93rd Brigade Ain Issa area, north of Raqqa province.

On September 13, Russian forces brought in logistical reinforcement and prefabricated rooms from their military base in Tal al-Samn town to Ain Issa town, north of Raqqa.

While on September 12, reliable sources told SOHR that Russian forces reopened Al-Hasakah-Aleppo international highway (M4) highway from Tal Tamr in the northern countryside of Al-Hasakah, to Ain Issa town in the northern countryside of Al-Raqqah.

This development came after the highway was closed for more than two months as a part of precautionary measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus. Tens of commercial trucks and vehicles were seen traveling on the M4 highway. According to SOHR sources, Russian forces escorted the trucks and vehicles while traveling on the highway.
