Ceasefire violations | Regime forces shell positions in Latakia and Idlib, while rebels shell regime positions in Kafr Nubl and kill soldier in rural Aleppo

Syrian Observatory sources reported that snipers of opposition factions shot dead a regime soldier at dawn on the frontlines of Bala village in the western countryside of Aleppo. This incident coincides with attacks by heavy machineguns on the same positions.

SOHR sources have also reported artillery fire by regime forces and loyalists on rebel positions, pounding the frontlines of Ain Issa village in Jabal Al-Turkiman in northern Latakia, Kansafra town, Balion and Al-Mawzarah villages, and the surrounding areas of Ihsim in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib.

In the meantime, opposition factions operating in Idlib countryside shelled regime positions in Kafr Nubl town in Idlib countryside. However, no casualties have been reported.

SOHR sources reported earlier this morning sporadic shelling in the early hours of Monday on large spaces in the “de-escalation zone”. Regime forces shelled villages in Jabal Al-Zawiyah and south Idlib countryside, as well as rebel positions in Sahl Al-Ghab. Meanwhile, Turkish forces and opposition factions shelled regime positions in Saraqeb and Kafr Nubl in Idlib countryside with rockets and artillery.

On the other hand, opposition factions thwarted two infiltration attempts by regime forces on the frontlines of Tqad in western Aleppo, and Fulayfel village in Idlib countryside.
