Turkish rocket attack | Regime soldier injured in western countryside of Tal Abyad
The Syrian Observatory has monitored this evening a rocket attack by Turkish forces on the village of Korhassan in western countryside of Tel Abyad, north of Raqqa. The attack left a soldier of the regime forces stationed in the village injured, and caused material damage to the homes of civilians.
Syrian Observatory sources have monitored this morning exchange of rocket and artillery fire on frontlines of western countryside of Tal Abyad in northern Al-Raqqah, between Turkish forces and their proxy factions in “Peace Spring” areas on one hand, and Syria Democratic Forces on the other.
According to SOHR sources, Turkish forces and their proxies shelled positions in Abduki village and surrounding areas, Saronj village, and Qaza’li silos. Meanwhile, SDF responded by shelling the source of the Turkish-backed factions’ fire.
