Clashes between groups affiliated with Turkey in Sri Kaniye
Clashes renewed this morning, Tuesday, between armed groups affiliated with the Turkish occupation in the occupied city of Ras al-Ain / Sri Kaniye in northeastern Syria, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
The observatory said that a new armed fighting broke out between two groups of the “Al-Safira Martyrs” faction near the automatic bakery in the city of Ras Al-Ain / Sri Kaniye.
According to the Observatory, the clashes resulted in the deaths of a number of militants among the militants, before the “Hasaka Shield” faction intervened to break the clashes.
Yesterday evening, media reports talked about mutual shelling between the Turkish occupation army and armed groups affiliated with it, in a number of villages in Zarkan / Abu Rasin district in the countryside of Sri Kaniye, without knowing the reasons.
It is reported that yesterday, unknown armed men killed a member of the Turkish-affiliated factions in the countryside of “Serekaniye”.
According to reports, unidentified persons shot two members of the Turkish-affiliated factions in the village of Mabrouka in the countryside of the occupied city of Sri Kaniye, killing one and wounding the other.
The city of “Sri Kaniye” has recently witnessed several clashes between the factions affiliated with Turkey, due to its frequent disputes over smuggling crossings and security checkpoints, in addition to disputes related to the sharing of stolen goods and areas of control.
