Coronavirus | Four infected people die, death toll increases to nine, and 14 new cases detected in north-western Syria

Four people infected with the coronavirus have died in al-Bab town in north-eastern Aleppo countryside in the last few hours.

This brings the number of the death toll to nine people. The breakdown of fatalities is as follows: an elderly woman in Al-Dana town in Idlib countryside, another woman in Souran town in Aleppo countryside, a doctor in northern Aleppo countryside, an elderly man in al-Bab, a 50-year-old man in the city of Salqin in rural Idlib and four people in al-Bab town

Health authorities have recorded today 14 new cases of coronavirus in north-western Syria, which is under the control of HTS and Turkish-backed factions in Aleppo and Idlib provinces.

According to Observatory statistics, the number of confirmed cases, since July 9 to date, rose to 654, including medical staff and doctors.

While 33 cases have been recovered in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of recovery cases to 251.
