After the release of three members of Kurdish forces’ Commandos | People of Al-Shehba withdraw from regime military checkpoint

Aleppo Province- Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources say that regime forces released three members of the Kurdish forces’ Commandos, after their arrest yesterday, without knowing the reasons. Regime forces are still holding one member so far, while “Military Relations” promised to mediate to release him on Wednesday.

In the meantime, the residents withdrew from the military checkpoint after expelling regime forces from it today.

SOHR sources said earlier that residents of al-Shehba area in the northern Aleppo countryside attacked today a checkpoint of the regime forces with stones, taking over it, after the members of the checkpoint fled.

The incident comes in response to the arrest of members of the Kurdish forces’ Commandos deployed in Aleppo countryside. Regime forces arrested yesterday a number of them at al-Ahdath checkpoint, coinciding with high security alert by the military forces in the area and the intervention of SDF’s relations to resolve the dispute and release them.
