Ceasefire violation | Regime rocket fire on Jabal Al-Zawiyah interrupts tense calm

Syrian Observatory activists have monitored cautious calm since midnight, interrupted by regime rocket attacks this morning on towns and villages in Jabal Al-Zawiyah. The regime bombardment hit positions in Al-Fterah, Kansafrah, Sfuhen and Fulayfel, but no casualties have been reported.

 

Yesterday, Observatory activists documented the death of a regime soldier on the north-eastern frontlines of Latakia. Meanwhile, factions operating in Sahl Al-Ghab shelled regime positions on al-Mashari’e frontline in the north-western countryside of Hama with mortars.

 

Moreover, Islamic factions shelled regime positions on the al-Jeb al-Ahmar frontline in Jabal al-Akrad in Latakia countryside, near the administrative border with Hama province.
