Daraa uprising | Residents demonstrate in Al-Harrak, expressing solidarity with Kanaker and demanding toppling of Syrian regime

Daraa Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR activists have monitored the residents of Al-Harrak towns in the eastern countryside of Daraa participating in demonstrations this afternoon, calling for the improvement of the living conditions, chanting “We want to live” slogan.

Meanwhile, the residents expressed their solidarity with Kanaker town which is under a tight siege by regime forces. The demonstrators also renewed their demand of the toppling of the Syrian regime.

Yesterday, SOHR eyewitnesses reported seeing dozens of residents staging a vigil in Tariq Al-Sadd neighbourhood in Daraa city, protesting kidnappings, assassinations, “Shabiha-like” behaviour and terrorism practiced by regime forces led by General “Hossam Luke”. Moreover, the demonstrators demanded the lifting of security tight procedures imposed on Daraa province.
