Gaining new military capabilities | Rebels’ drones attack regime forces’ gatherings in Idlib countryside

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored, this evening, explosions in the areas held by regime forces in Idlib countryside, as a result of drone attacks, believed to be affiliated with the Islamic factions, targeting the gatherings of regime forces in the villages of Kafrbatikh and Dadikh near the town of Maardabsa in eastern Idlib countryside. No casualties have been reported so far.

It is worth nothing that drones, believed to be affiliated with the Islamic factions, shelled, a few days ago, regime forces’ positions in al-Joup al-Ahmar in Sahl al-Ghab, north-west of Hama province.

Syrian Observatory sources say that the factions are working to develop drones and train members of their cadres on how to use them if regime forces try to advance into further positions.

On the other hand, the “Putin-Erdogan” area is witnessing frequent flight by Russian reconnaissance drones over the border area and the western countryside of Idlib.

SOHR sources have monitored rocket fire this afternoon by opposition factions on regime positions on frontlines of Kafr Nubl and Hazarin. However, no casualties have been reported.

Meanwhile, regime forces shelled positions in Kansafra town in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib.

SOHR sources reported earlier this morning renewed rocket fire by regime forces this morning on the “de-escalation” zone, targeting positions in Al-Ziyyarah in Sahl Al-Ghab in north-western Hama, Al-Mawzarah and the surrounding areas of Quqfin in the southern countryside of Idlib. No casualties were reported.
