Supporting Turkish presence and affirming continuity of the revolution | Residents demonstrate in several areas in Idlib province

Idlib Province- Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR eyewitnesses say that popular demonstrations took place today in Idlib city and the towns of Kalli and Harbnoosh in northern Idlib province. The demonstrators affirmed the continuity of the Syrian revolution until its goals are achieved, chanting slogans in support of the Turkish forces’ presence in the province.

On September 11, Syrian Observatory activists monitored tens of residents gathering in front of the Turkish observation post in Al-Mastumah town in the south of Idlib city. The demonstrators have demanded the Turkish forces fulfill their promises concerning the expulsion of regime forces from the areas they captured recently, so that the displaced people can return to their villages and towns.

SOHR sources have just reported that people of Idlib city participated in a demonstration in Al-Sa’a square under the slogan “The Revolution has never died”. The demonstrators confirmed the continuity of the “Syrian Revolution” until achieving its goals manifested in the toppling of the Syrian regime and the release of detainees in regime prisons.

The demonstrators also stressed on the rights of displaced people to return to their homes throughout Syria. Moreover, a similar demonstration took place in Sarmada city near Iskenderun region border in northern Idlib.
