Deir ez-Zor countryside | Regime forces shell SDF positions on the bank of Euphrates River

Deir ez-Zor governorate- Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR activists say that several mortars fell, this evening, near SDF’s Self-Defense post in the village of Al-Dahla in Deir ez-Zor countryside.

According to Observatory sources, regime forces stationed on the other side of the Euphrates River fired the missiles, while SDF responded targeting fire sources.

On August 18, SOHR sources said that regime forces and loyalists fired indiscriminately towards the posts of SDF and International Coalition, on the eastern bank of the Euphrates River, south of the Koniko oil field in Deir ez-Zor countryside. No casualties have been reported.

On August 14, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored an exchange of fire between SDF members stationed at the Euphrates river bank, west of the town of al-Tayyana, east of Deir ez-Zor, and regime forces stationed on the west bank of the river, but no casualties were reported.
