Turkish military in NW Syria | 6,530 vehicles enter “de-escalation zone” since ceasefire came into effect

Syrian Observatory activists have reported seeing a new Turkish column of 15 vehicles, including armoured vehicles and logistical supplies, crossing into the Syrian territory this evening, via Kafr Lusin border crossing in northern Idlib. The vehicles headed to the Turkish positions in the “de-escalation zone”.

 

As Turkey keeps sending more military reinforcement to NW Syria, the number of Turkish military units, which entered the “de-escalation zone” since the new ceasefire came into effect has risen to 6,530, in addition to the entry of hundreds of soldiers.

 

From February 2 to date, SOHR activists monitored the entry of more than 9,865 trucks and military vehicles to the “de-escalation zone”, including tanks, personnel carriers, armored vehicles, mobile bulletproof guard booths and military radars.
