“Peace Spring” areas | Popular anger grows in Ras Al-Ain over escalating security chaos

SOHR activists have monitored growing popular anger and discontent in the area of Ras Al-Ain (Sere Kaniye), which is under the control of Turkish forces and their proxies, over the escalating security chaos there. The region has recently experienced several attacks, explosions, killing and kidnappings, at a time when the Turkish-backed factions continue inaction, as they are only busy practicing their violations against the remaining residents there.

This public anger comes in the wake of yesterday’s explosion which claimed the lives of seven people and injured 12 others, after the car-bomb explosion near the industrial area in the south of Ras Al-Ain city.

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported hearing a loud explosion at the southern entrance of Ras Al-Ain city in Al-Hasakah countryside, caused by the explosion of a car-bomb near the scrap yard in the industrial area in the city. The explosion left casualties and caused material damage.
