“De-escalation zone” | Unknown explosions hit regime-held areas in Idlib countryside, and ground shelling targets areas near Turkish troops’ positions

SOHR sources say that unknown explosions were heard in the village of Kafr Batikh, which is controlled by regime forces, south of Saraqeb, believed to be drone attack by factions operating in the area.

On the other hand, regime forces shelled the vicinity of the village of Afis and the village of Majizar in Idlib countryside, which host many Turkish military posts in the area.

The town of Al-Ziyara, Tal Wasit and Mansoura were also shelled in Sahl al-Ghab, north-west of Hama province, coinciding with the flight of Russian and regime reconnaissance drones over the area.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored, this evening, artillery shelling by regime forces, targeting the village of al-Mansoura in Sahl al-Ghab in north-west countryside of Hama, and the town of Al-Bara in Jabal al-Zawiya area in Idlib countryside.

On the other hand, loud explosions were heard within the positions of regime forces on Kabana frontline in northern countryside of Latakia, after being targeted by the factions’ drones. No casualties have been reported so far.

SOHR sources have reported that regime forces fired several rockets this afternoon, targeting positions in Jabal Al-Turkman in the northern countryside of Latakia. Meanwhile, exchange of fire continued in the southern countryside of Idlib between opposition factions and HTS on one hand, and regime forces and loyalists on the other.

SOHR sources reported earlier this morning rocket attacks by opposition factions on regime positions in Kafr Nubl and Hazarin in southern Idlib. Meanwhile, regime forces shelled positions in Fulayfel, Kansafra, Sfuhen, Al-Bara and Al-Fterah in the southern countryside of Idlib, Al-Daqmaq and Al-Ankawi in Sahl Al-Ghab in the north-western countryside of Hama. No casualties were reported.
