Proliferation of arms in regime-controlled areas | Man kills his three daughters in Tartus, and 20 people injured in grenade explosion in Salamiyyah

Security chaos is noticeably escalating in areas under the control of the Syrian regime, as it is the case across the entire Syrian geography, especially with the considerable proliferation of arms. In this context, SOHR activists have reported that over 20 persons sustained various injuries, as a person threw a grenade on people during a wedding party in Tal Qitta village in the countryside of Sallamiyah city in Hama province.

SOHR sources have also documented another incident in Tartus city when a man (a math teacher) opened fire on his wife and his three daughters in Al-Jam’iyyah neighbourhood, killing the three girls and injuring the wife who was taken later to the hospital. It is worth noting that the teacher killed himself, after he had published a post on social media justifying the reasons and motives behind this crime.
