After a week of tense calm | Clashes resume between Kurdish forces and Turkish-backed factions on north-east Aleppo frontlines

Aleppo Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources say that sporadic clashes took place between Turkish-backed factions on one side, and Kurdish forces and regime-backed armed men on the other, on frontline of Al-Dagalbash near the city of Al-Bab in eastern Aleppo countryside, coinciding with exchange of artillery shelling on the frontlines. No casualties have been so far. This comes less than a week after a tense calm on those frontlines.

On September 24, SOHR activists monitored clashes on the frontlines of Al-Deghelbash in the north-eastern countryside of Aleppo in the early hours of Thursday morning, between Turkish-backed factions and “Al-Bab Military Council Forces”. The clashes were accompanied by exchange of shelling, but no casualties were reported.

On September 23, SOHR sources said that Turkish forces and their proxy factions shelled the Kurdish-held villages of Soghonaka, Malikiyyah, Shawariq and Ain Daqna in northern Aleppo province. No casualties were reported.
