Security chaos in SDF-held areas | IED explosion targets gas line in Al-Shaddadi city

Al-Hasakah Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR activists have reported hearing a loud explosion nearby Al-Shaddadi city in the south of Al-Hasakah province. The explosion was caused by the detonation of an IED, planted earlier by unknown individuals, in the gas line between linking between the gas plant in Al-Shaddadi city and Markada city. The explosion caused large fires and considerable material damage, but no casualties have been reported.

 

On September 28, SOHR sources said that one person was injured seriously in the explosion of a grenade thrown by an unknown assailant on a motorcycle near the Assyrian church roundabout in the SDF-held city of al-Hasakah.

 

While on September 24, Observatory activists documented the death of a young man, after being shot by an armed gang, as they were trying to loot his house in the village of Abu Doyle in Al-Qamishli countryside.

 

Meanwhile, a young man was injured after being hit with a gunshot of unknown origin, while working in Tal Hajar neighbouhood in Al-Hasakah.
