Islamic State executes a man and his wife in the countryside of Deir Ezzor

Reliable sources informed SOHR that IS informed relatives of a man from the town of al- Bisiri in east of Deir Ezzor that he was executed with his wife for “sorcery”. The sources confirmed to SOHR that IS has not handed the bodies over to their relatives.

Thus, the number of people who were executed by IS in the villages and towns of Deir Ezzor for “ serving the regime forces, fighting IS, coordinating with the awakening movements in Turkey, apostasy, drugs traffic, and recruiting al- Shaitaat people in Palmyra camp” since May 20, until now has risen to 62, including a young man from the city of al- Mayadin executed by IS organization by shooting him for “apostasy”. The sources confirmed that the young man was arrested by IS in order to be undergone for “closed Sharia course” because he opposed the Friday’s sermon of an Imam of a mosque in the city of al- Mayadin.
