Coronavirus | 19 new cases detected in NW Syria, bringing total number of infection cases to 1,091

Health authorities recorded today 19 new infection cases with COVID-19 in north-western Syria region, which is under the control of HTS and Turkish-backed factions in Aleppo and Idlib provinces.

 

According to Observatory statistics, the total number of confirmed cases recorded since July 9 to date has risen to 1,091, including doctors and medics.

 

Meanwhile, 28 cases were recovered in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of recovered cases to 554.

 

Syrian Observatory activists have documented the death of 12 people, and they are: an elderly woman in Al-Dana town in Idlib countryside, another woman in Souran town in Aleppo countryside, a doctor in northern Aleppo countryside, an elderly man in al-Bab, a man in his fiftieth in Salqin city in rural Idlib, four people in al-Bab town in Aleppo countryside, a child in Idlib, an elderly man in the northern countryside of Aleppo, and a man in Zoughrah camp in Aleppo countryside.
