Infiltration attempt | Fierce clashes erupt between “Manbij Military Council Forces” and Turkish-backed factions in northern Manbij

Syrian Observatory activists have reported fierce clashes between “Manbij Military Council Forces” and Turkish-backed factions this dawn, after an infiltration attempt by the factions into positions of “Manbij Military Council” on the frontlines of Arab Hasan and Al-Lajat, near Al-Sajour river in the northern countryside of Manbij in north-eastern Aleppo.

The fierce clashes lasted for hours, before the Turkish-backed factions withdrew from the positions they advanced into. The clashes coincided with Turkish artillery fire on positions of “Manbij Military Council” in the area. However, no casualties have been reported.

Yesterday, SOHR activists said that fierce clashes took place between Turkish-backed factions and Kurdish forces on al-Daghlebash frontline, west of al-Bab city in the eastern Aleppo countryside. No casualties were reported.
