Blasts in Turkish-backed areas | Car-bomb explodes injuring five people on the outskirts of Afrin city

Aleppo Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

SOHR sources have reported hearing a loud explosion in the town of Afrin, which is under the control of Turkish-backed factions, north of Aleppo, as a result of a car-bomb explosion near Ma’arata junction on the outskirts of Afrin city. The explosion injured five people.

It is worth nothing that the area hosts military headquarters of Turkish-backed factions.

On October 3, SOHR activists say that an explosion occurred in the city of Afrin, which is controlled by Turkish forces and proxy factions, in the northern Aleppo countryside, this evening, as a result of an IED exploded in a garbage container on the Afrin-Azaaz road, causing material damage but no casualties have been reported.

On October 3, the Syrian Observatory documented the death of three Turkish-backed police officers on Saturday evening, as an IED exploded at a checkpoint near the city of Al-Bab, east of Aleppo.

On October 1st, SOHR activists reported an IED explosion in a car near Al-Nayrouz roundabout in Al-Villat street in Afrin city, which is under the control of the Turkish forces and their proxy factions in north-western Aleppo. The explosion injured at least two persons and caused material damage.
