Slaughtered with knives | Iranian-backed militias kill three shepherds in eastern Homs countryside

Homs Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

Reliable sources have informed the Syrian Observatory that gunmen, believed to be Iranian-backed militias, in two pickup vehicles, attacked shepherds from a tribe near the village of Rasim Al-Taweel in the area of Jab al-Jarrah in the eastern countryside of Homs. Three shepherds were slaughtered with knives. Then, the gunmen stole food from the houses of the area before fleeing.

Yesterday, SOHR sources said that gunmen, believed to be Iranian militias, targeted a car which refused to stop at a security checkpoint at the junction of the town of Al-Qaryatin in eastern Homs countryside, seriously injuring a child and a woman from the “Bani Khaled” clan.

Meanwhile, Iranian militias opened fire on car carrying 11 civilians, after being hit by a rocket-propelled grenade in al-Dawa area, east of Homs. While their fate is unknown to date.
