Coronavirus | Some 60 new confirmed cases in north-western Syria, and total number of infected people jumps to 1,533, of whom 15 died

Health authorities have recorded today 59 new coronavirus cases in north-western Syria, which is under the control of HTS and Turkish-backed factions in Aleppo and Idlib provinces.

According to Observatory statistics, the number of confirmed cases, since July 9 to date, rose to 1,533, including medical staff and doctors.

While 49 cases have been recovered in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of recovery cases to 857.

The Syrian Observatory has documented a rise in the death toll of coronavirus in north-western Syria. The fatalities rose to 15 in the areas of “Salvation Government” in Idlib and related countryside, and the “Interim Government” areas in the northern Aleppo countryside.
