Feuding factions | New fight erupts between Turkish-backed factions in “Peace Spring” areas, leaving many civilians and military injured

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored a new infighting between Turkish-backed factions in the village of Tel Halaf in Ras al-Ain countryside in the “Peace Spring” areas in Hasakeh countryside. Clashes have took place between the factions of Sultan Murad and Suleiman Shah, in which they used grenades and RPJs. The clashes resulted in the injury of a number of civilians, as a grenade fell inside a pharmacy, as well as the injury of a number of fighters.

On October 5, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored a security crackdown by Turkish-backed factions in Ras al-Ain countryside, with the help of a head of village. Members of Sultan Murad, Suleiman Shah and military police arrested several young people aged between 20 and 30 from the villages of Kua Shalah, Arisha and Al-Buwayda in Ras al-Ain countryside.

According to Syrian Observatory sources, member of Turkish-backed factions are attacking civilian homes and violating their privacy, in addition to seizing mobile phones from residents, on charges of terrorism and having contact with SDF.
