Growing tension | HTS impose curfew in Tal’ada, after ten people killed in fierce clashes

Idlib Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR sources have confirmed that the number of fatalities among HTS who were killed in the security campaign in Tal’ada town has risen to five members, while others sustained serious injuries.

 

SOHR activists have monitored the suspension of fighting between Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham and an ISIS cell in Tal’ada area in northern Idlib, near the administrative border with west Aleppo countryside.

 

According to SOHR sources, several members of the ISIS cells managed to escape from the town, while others have been still hiding there.

 

In the meantime, HTS imposed a curfew and the HTS-affiliated “General Security Service” has announced Tal’ada town a military zone.

 

Earlier this afternoon, SOHR activists documented the death of three members of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham and the injury of others in fierce clashes between HTS and an ISIS cell in Tal’ada area in northern Idlib, near the administrative border with west Aleppo countryside. According to SOHR sources, four members of the ISIS cell blew themselves up, after being encircled in a house in the area. Moreover, two other members of ISIS cells were also killed in the same clashes which erupted in the early hours of Saturday morning.
