ISIS resurgence | Soldiers dead and wounded in attack on regime positions in eastern Hama

Hama Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: SOHR activists have reported hearing explosions and gunfire nearby Oqayrabat town in the eastern countryside of Hama, as ISIS members attacked regime positions in Mustarihat Tahmaz area.

 

The attack left casualties among regime forces and ISIS, while vehicles and weapons of both sides were destroyed.

 

On October 6, Observatory activists reported an attack by Islamic State cells on regime positions in al-Fasedeh area, Al-Tanahuj and Totyan mountains in the eastern countryside of Hama. The attack coincided with Russian airstrikes.
