Murder | Uncertainty surrounds death of young man in Al-Hasakah city

Al-Hasakah Province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: a young man was found dead in Al-Nashwah neighbourhood in the south of Al-Hasakah city, while uncertainty surrounded the nature and circumstances of his death.

On October 1, SOHR sources reported hearing a loud explosion nearby Al-Shaddadi city in the south of Al-Hasakah province. The explosion was caused by the detonation of an IED, planted earlier by unknown individuals, in the gas pipeline linking between the gas plant in Al-Shaddadi city and Markada city. The explosion caused large fires and considerable material damage, but no casualties were reported.

On September 28, SOHR sources said that one person was injured seriously in the explosion of a grenade thrown by an unknown assailant on a motorcycle near the Assyrian church roundabout in the SDF-held city of al-Hasakah.
