After stopping for nearly 25 days | Russian jets renew their airstrikes on areas in western Idlib

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has monitored, this morning, airstrikes by Russian fighter jets on places in al-Hamama area in the northern countryside of Jisr al-Shughour, west of Idlib. According to Observatory sources, airstrikes targeted a camp of Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham (HTS) in the area. No casualties have been reported so far.

These airstrikes come nearly 25 days after similar ones by Russian jets on areas, west of Idlib city.

Yesterday evening, the Syrian Observatory monitored artillery shelling by the factions “Al-Fath al-Mubin” targeting regime positions near Saraqeb city in eastern Idlib countryside. No casualties were reported. While regime forces targeted with artillery the areas of Al-Zaqqum and Al-Mashik in the western countryside of Hama.
