Military conscription | Security services arrest over 100 youths from eastern rural Deir ez-Zor, most of whom from Al-Mayadeen

Reliable sources have informed the Syrian Observatory that the regime security services have launched a campaign of arrests in several areas of the eastern countryside of Deir al-Zour in recent days.

According to Syrian Observatory sources, the arrests were made for military compulsory service. Regime security services have arrested about 50 youths from the city of Mayadeen, which is under the control of Iranian militias and some regime-affiliated military formations, as well as some 55 youths from the towns of Al-Zabari, Salou and Mouhassan in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor.
