Afrin | “Al-Jabha al-Shamiya” prominent leader storms meeting of activists and media with “Interim Government”, threatening to expel “Interim Government” from the building

Aleppo Governorate – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

Reliable sources have informed SOHR that a meeting took place yesterday between the Turkish-backed “Interim Syrian Government” and some activists and media workers in the government building in the city of Afrin, north-west of Aleppo.

The civilian police blocked the road at the government building, and during the meeting, a prominent leader “Al-Jabha al-Shamiya” stormed the meeting in an “inappropriate” manner, accompanied by a number of armed escorts, speaking to members of the government in a “shabiha-like” manner, as described by the attendees, and threating to expel them from the building, as they blocked the road during the meeting.
