Backed by International Coalition helicopters | SDF storms area north of Deir ez-Zor, killing former member of Turkish-backed factions

Deir ez-Zor province – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights:

Syrian Observatory sources say that the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), backed by International Coalition helicopters, stormed al-Majid area, this morning, in the town of Al-Sour in northern countryside of Deir ezzor, and asked the residents through loudspeakers to stay indoors, before they start the storming.

The security campaign resulted in the arrest of a person accused of “belonging to the Islamic State”, as well as the killing of one person and injuring his wife, who was a former member of the Turkish-backed factions and used to live in the areas of “Euphrates Shield” in Aleppo countryside, before he recently returned to the town of Al-Sour, north of Deir ez-Zor.

Meanwhile, the helicopters of the International Coalition have targeted a warehouse of IEDs in the valley on the outskirts of the town of Al-Sour.

On October 12, Syrian Observatory activists reported a security campaign by Syria Democratic Forces, backed by the International Coalition Forces and helicopters, in Al-Madinah village in eastern Al-Shaddadi city in the southern countryside of Al-Hasakah. The security forces arrested four persons for “belonging to ISIS” who were taken later to unknown destination.

On October 11, Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that units of the SDF-affiliated counter-terrorism forces stormed Theban town in Deir Ezzor countryside, searching for suspicious. It is worth noting that the security forces arrested members of the Iranian-backed militias and the regime-backed “National Defence Forces” (NDF) from the town.
