Security crackdown | SDF storms ISIS leader’s home in eastern rural Deir ez-Zor

Reliable sources have informed SOHR that the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) raided the house of a leader of the Islamic State named “Abu Walid al-Iraqi” and searched it in the village of Al-Raz in eastern countryside of Deir al-Zour.

It is worth nothing that the leader was arrested earlier by SDF on July 20, 2020.

Yesterday, Syrian Observatory sources said that the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), backed by International Coalition helicopters, stormed al-Majid area, this morning, in the town of Al-Sour in northern countryside of Deir ezzor, and asked the residents through loudspeakersto to stay indoors, before they start the stoming.

The security campaign resulted in the arrest of a person accused of “belonging to the Islamic State”, as well as the killing of one person and injuring his wife, who was a former member of the Turkish-backed factions and used to live in the areas of “Euphrates Shield” in Aleppo countryside, before he recently returned to the town of Al-Sour, north of Deir ez-Zor.

Meanwhile, the helicopters of the International Coalition have targeted a warehouse of IEDs in the valley on the outskirts of the town of Al-Sour.
